Setting Up Your Pay Period

In this video, I walk you through how to set up your pay period in our system.
To adjust this, you'll need to go into the settings tab and find the pay period option, where you can select your preferred frequency.
You can use the most recent start date for your pay period, and once saved, you can check the updated pay periods in the Time Sheets section.
This setting will be saved for future use, to help save you time.
Please take a moment to follow these steps to ensure your pay period is accurately reflected in your reports.

0:00 All right, welcome back to Times Square. Let's look at how we can set up your pay period. When you set up your account by default, the pay period is going to be set to monthly, but most companies this is either bi-weekly or it could be weekly, so we want to set it to something that works better for us

Uh, the way to do that is you would go into the settings tab and find pay period or you can just search here in the settings just because there's a lot of options there. 0:36 You would hit pay period length and from there you can change it To, let's say, bi-weekly. And we want to set the recent, most recent start in one of our pay periods.
0:48 Doesn't mean, doesn't matter which one. You can just say, hey, my most recent pay period started on Monday last week or something like that.
0:56 And then when you save, come back into timesheets, select this, uh, period picker again and pay period. This list will now be updated to to show your pay periods according to your Moving forward, if we close the app, reopen the app for my next week, this is gonna save the settings and they're using this
1:18 pay period setting. And your pay period is gonna be reflected over here or an overview. I mean, I don't have any times right now, but when it's showing reports for your pay period, it'll take this date range into account.
1:31 Similarly, if you go into projects and tap any times, it'll know what your pay period is.
