Does Geo-Fencing have a significant impact on my phones battery?
Geo-fencing should not have a significant impact on your battery performance.

To ensure the best battery performance with Geo-fencing, we’ve implemented the following measures:

• We utilize the lowest level of location accuracy, allowing the device to rely on cell towers instead of GPS whenever possible to detect location changes.

• We leverage your phone's built-in Geo-fencing support system, which is designed to be as power-efficient as possible. This means the Time Squared app doesn’t need to be actively running for Geo-fencing to function, as the operating system manages it efficiently.

Does live location tracking have a significant impact on my phones battery?
Enabling live location tracking does consume more battery power than not using it. However, we've implemented several measures to minimize this impact:

• Live location tracking is active only when you're clocked in.

• While you're working, we use a lower level of location accuracy, which allows the device to determine your location in the most efficient way possible—first using cell towers, then Wi-Fi, and only resorting to GPS at the lowest accuracy if necessary.

• Instead of constantly checking your location like navigation apps do, live location tracking updates your position every 5 to 15 minutes, resulting in a significantly lower overall impact compared to other location-based applications.
